Free... as a Bird

Just so everyone knows, this application we are developing is going to be...
100% FREE
That's right, it will be released in the iPhone AppStore to download for FREE. All it requires is a FREE RememberTheMilk account (NO paid Pro account needed).

Of course, we have to pay the $99 developer fee to publish this application. So after release, we are going to accept donations to cover that cost.

Two Weeks Later

We posted a poll a few weeks back about what number should be displayed on the application icon. And it was quite obvious, with 76%, that you - the user - wants to be able to choose. Okay, done!

We are looking for your input! All comments are read and taken into account. For example, we were not planning to do offline support, after just ONE comment, we are! So please, post your questions and suggestions.

In the meantime, here are some more screenshots from our development version.

An example screen when you click "All Tasks." Note the red/orange bar indicating high priority.

Here is an example task. Only the relevant information is shown. For example, this task does not have a URL associated to it, so that content is hidden.

An example screen when you click "Lists." Note the star icon indicating a generated list.

An example screen when you click "Tags."

An example screen when you click "Locations."

(all content - tasks, lists, tags, locations, etc. - displayed in these screenshots are demo data)

Progressing

It has been over a month since I posted our project on the RememberTheMilk forum (scroll down to the message by "stjohnjohnson").  We are progessing quite well with this application, though we can only work on it in our free time.  We've made a significant amount of progessive, most of which cannot be show yet.  But in the meantime, you can see screenshots of the icon and main view.  PS: Our in-app icons are from the Oxygen set.

We will post more pictures later, but what you need to know is that most of the front-end is completed and the back-end is about 50% there.  In a month, we should be ready to run a closed beta.

Also, as we post images, please comment on them.  We are building this application for the users, so your suggestions are very useful!
